    • The Beer Place, Chester, has won the National Cider and Perry pub award.
    • Facers brewery, Flint, is currently brewing it’s seasonal Plum Porter as well as introducing their very own pork scratchings.
    • North Wales live reports that the licensee of the Fox Inn, Ysceifiog has brought the freehold after 14 years at the helm.
    • Brookhouse Mill, Denbigh, is undergoing an £850,000 refurbishment prior to reopening.
    • Bad Dragon microbrewery, Greenfield is considering producing cask ale to augment their current craft keg range.

    • Black Cloak Brewery (and Brewery Tap) Denbigh, is now brewing. The Colwyn Bay pub will remain open
    • The Crown at Llandegla has changed it's opening hours and has a new chef
    • Polly's Brewery is to open a new bar in Mold, likely in Spring 2025

    • The Bryntirion Inn, Llandderfel, has been put up for sale and reportedly bought by the owners of nearby Pale Hall. It is expected to reopen at the end of August.
    • Black Cloak Brewery - formerly based in Colwyn Bay - has completed its relocation to Denbigh. It has a tap room which it is understood to be open Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm. The Black Cloak tap room in Colwyn Bay remains open but without the adjacent brewery.
    • Brookhouse Mill, Denbigh, has been bought by Strange & Co (owners of the Cottage Loaf, Llandudno). It is expected to remain closed for some time while refurbishment takes place.
    • Hafod Brewery, Mold, won a star at the recent Great taste Awards for their Moel Famau Porter.
