- The Golden Lion in Llangynhafal has been closed for many months and is up for sale for £375,000. However, the owners have sent in a planning application for change use to a private house. The locals have created a Campaign Group to object to the planning to keep it as a pub and they have many supporters.
- Last Saturday we presented Reaction Brewery with the award for Citaron being the champion beer at the 2025 Novemberfest.
- The Celtic Arms Northop as a new owner and six cask ales on tap.
- Reported that JD Wetherspoon has issued a profit warning.
- There are works in progress on the Brewery Tap on Prestatyn High Street.
- Reported that the Old Vaults, Denbigh has closed.
- Ty Fry, Bodelwyddan has closed.
- The Royal Oak, Holywell has reopened under new management.
- The Red Lion, Melidan has also reopened under new management.
- The Glanglasfor Club, Rhyl, is up for sale.
- The Owain Glyndwr, Gwernymynydd is looking to add short term let accommodation as part of its refurbishment. Re-opening date as yet unknown.
- 1891, Rhyl, is holding an Octoberfest event this year.
- The Colomendy Arms, Cadole, has had a change of use approved for residential use.
