  • The Millbank Inn, on Grange Road, sold for £280,000 at an auction on August 13.
  • Birmingham-based planning consultants Marrons applied in 2024 for a change of use of 19-23 Vale Road, formerly home to The Blue Moon pub (and formerly Caskey’s). The property has been vacant since The Blue Moon shut in March 2023. In the application to Denbighshire County Council, they requested a change of use to form three ground-floor commercial units, and two first-floor self-contained flats. This application was granted planning permission by the council on Friday September 11.
  • Greene King pubs are offering a 25% discount for a week. It is understood the Harbour, Rhyl, is the only Greene King pub in our branch area.
  • The New Inn, St Asaph, has been awarded JW Lees Pub of the Year and HeadCellerman for 2026.
  • It is understood that the Taps, Prestatyn, has not yet gained a premises license.
